GOAL is developing a new violence awareness and prevention module to compliment our proven and sought-after curriculum for middle-school girls. Recognizing & Rejecting Violence and Abuse will help girls develop the skills to make healthy choices and reject the culture of violence in their lives.

Holistic Single-Gender Girls' Schools Initiatives

GOAL is piloting a comprehensive project to support and enhance single-gender academies through licensed curriculum, direct service, teacher training, parent workshops, mentorship management, and community education. This project is currently underway at Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy and Martin Luther King Urban Learning Center.

Cultural Competency Initiative

GOAL is working with educational leadership in the Jewish community to establish a version of the GOAL® Core Curriculum which could be offered to schools around the country. This pilot can translate to creating versions of the curriculum for other cultures.

Cortland Partners/GOAL Workforce Housing Initiative

Cortland Partners has provided seed money for strategic program development within workforce housing communities through quality girl-specific outreach and education. GOAL will create a local pilot program to encourage gender-specific community activities within the neighborhood with the goal of replicating the project in other workforce housing developments.
