GOAL, INC. TO HOST "MORE TO MOTHER'S DAY: A MOTHER/DAUGHTER DIALOGUE"
Moms and daughters invited to discuss "growing up girl"-'then' and 'now'
(April 30, 2003-Atlanta, GA) Girls' Outdoor Adventure for Leadership (GOAL), Inc., will host a night of dialogue for mothers and their daughters in 5-8 grade on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, 6:45 p.m. at the Decatur Library in downtown Decatur. With the Mother's Day cards, flowers and gifts having been exchanged, moms and their daughters will be encouraged to "get real" and explore their relationship with each other by sharing their experiences of their pre-teen and teen years. Through group participation exercises facilitated by GOAL staff, moms and daughters will be guided to learn more about each other in a neutral setting and dared to have fun in the process!
Participants will also have an opportunity to discover GOAL's summer and year-round programs. Moms and daughters interested in being a part of the dialogue are encouraged to call 404-633-9413.
